     Motion and Vibration Analysis

Modal analysis of large machinery, automobile steering and suspension testing, railroad car motion and track monitoring, highway vehicle shock measurement and logging, wind tunnel testing of aircraft, robot machinery motion tracking, training simulator motion tracking, and portable computer shock sensing are all areas where ATA Sensors products have found applications.

Where there is a need to measure vibration or angular motion, there is an MHD sensor to do the job.  While most of our standard products are designed for low volume test, measurement or control applications, we also develop sensors which can be built in very high volumes at very low costs. Designed for Maxtor, a high volume disk drive manufacturer, the ARS-08 is capable of detecting single axis shock in portable computer disk drives and disrupting the data write operation if a shock is strong enough to knock the disk heads off track.  The full family of ATA Sensors’ products has been designed to solve difficult measurement problems in shock, vibration and angular motion, from the tiny ARS-08 to the ultra-precise ARS-12.

Whatever your angular application, we can provide the best sensor to meet your needs: standard, custom configured, or new MHD designs.
