ILC-03 are in-line converter boxes for use with angular rate sensors.  Multiple functions are available in the ILC and must be specified at time of order.  These functions include (singularly or combination) single voltage input (± 10 Vdc), amplified outputs with gains of 10, 100, or 1000x, and acceleration output.  All sensors input and output  voltages and signals run through the ILC.  The ILC is machined of hard aluminum, has 4 mounting holes for attachment to test fixtures, and uses Airborn® mil spec connectors.  Internal electronics are encapsulated to make a sealed rugged unit that can withstand high shock and harsh environments.

The single voltage input option allows input of a 10 Vdc signal to the ILC which generates the ±13.2 Vdc voltages for MHD angular rate sensors (this option is not for use with the ARS-01S or Dynacube™ S models).

Gain options utilize a 2 stage amplifier circuit to produce clean output signals amplified by the specified gain value.

Acceleration output option utilizes a differential signal converter circuit.  The angular rate signal is converted to acceleration and the acceleration signal is supplied on a separate output pin in addition to the rate signal, allowing direct analysis of both acceleration and rate from   the analog output signals.

The ILC-01 requires use of the cable CA-02  (sensor to ILC) and CA-03(ILC to test equipment).  The ILC-03 requires use of Cables CA-02, CA-03 and CA-03AX.  Refer to the ATA Sensors’ order guide for details.
